Well, not the Better Business Bureau in itself, but the fact that people are taking advantage of the trust behind it and using it to make scams. The scam is all about delivering a virus via email. You will receive an email supposedly from the BBB asking you to file a complaint, but when you click on the link, you will receive the virus.

Then again, the BBB will probably never email you about filing a complaint, so that should raise a red flag in itself.

The Better Business Bureau is warning businesses all over the country they could become the next targets of an E-mail scam.

In this buyer beware report it says hackers got into business computer systems causing them to send thousands of E-mail messages, which appear to be complaints filed with the bureau.[more]
