Johnson City officers arrested two people on charges of theft and forgery on Wednesday. Jamie and Ashley Stines were arrested and charged with three counts of theft of property under $500, two counts of identity theft and two counts of forgery and credit card fraud.

Identity Theft Warning 
A former clerk at a local department store is facing felony charges tonight. State Police say 30 year old Aquila Thomas took a customer’s drivers license and social security number to illegally get four credit cards, two cell phones, and a home computer.

Identity theft at hospital 
A Lebanon woman stole the identity of a woman she supervised at Elliot Hospital in Manchester and charged nearly $13,000 in her name, according to court records.

TJX Says 45 Million Credit Cards Hacked 
On January 17, the discount retailer TJX reported that its computer system had been hacked and that the intruders obtained access to financial information and driver’s licenses dating back as far as 2003.
